The “Honest” Truth

Would you ever lie to someone? Well, the simple answer for me is yes, as a matter of fact, I do it all the time. Nobody, really knows the truth about whats going on inside my head except for me. Some people cant deal with the consequences of lying, or feel too much shame. However, in some cases isnt it better to lie to those closest to you than hurt them with the truth.

Hypothetically, if you walked into a store and stole a rather expensive item, how would you explain to those closest to you how you came into possession of it? You could either, tell the truth, which is you stole it, or you could simply lie to them. There are so many ways to manoeuvre your way of that little situation. You can say, you found it (doesnt work often) or you can simply say a friend gave it to you as a present. The latter is perhaps the easiest way to deceive a person, although if they know your friends, you better beware. I think that in this situation even, those closest to you, especially your parents would choose to hear the lie rather than the truth. Parents always want to make it seem like their child is the perfect little angel who never does anything wrong, and as soon as they do, it will tear the family apart.

You dont necessarily, have to lie to get out of trouble. This option will probably workl best for those who can easily manipulate the English language, and those who are imaginative but not too out there. You can choose to tell the truth, but you dont need to tell them everything. For example, if someone gave you $20 to donate to a charity, you could say donate $10 and keep the other $10. This way, when someone asks, you can tell the truth and say you the money to charity, although it may not have been all of it. You are simply choosing to tell the truth but at the same time not the whole truth.

For those who feel ashamed and guilty after they lie, I can only offer two pieces of advice – grow some balls, and keep lying. If you keep lying, you will eventually get used to it, and it will become a useful skill such as learning to write. The more you practice, the more refined your skill will be. No one ever made it to the top by telling the truth 100% of the time. To get to the top, you either screw your way there, or lie and backstab your way up the ladder. Once your on top remember to kick the ladder away.

How would you choose to protect your family? Would you tell them the truth, or would you tell a little lie? In the interest of self preservation, I suggest that you lie. Lying has always worked wonders for me, so maybe it can do the same for you.

Test Tube Babies

With increasing technology today, we can pretty much do almost anything when it comes to childbirth and fertilisation. With the IVF technology, it is possible to choose which sperm you want to fertilise your egg. These days, you can choose the sex of your child and its only a matter of time before we could choose every characteristic of your child.

IVF, is when an egg is extracted from the body, and is fertilised with a sperm. All this occurs in labs outside of the human body. With our expanding knowledge of genetics and fertilisation, it will eventually be possible  to choose the exact baby we want. So do you want a perfection, or do you prefer to do it the old fashion way? A perfect baby, free from genetic disorders but they will still be susceptible to other diseases and problems which may occur after fertilisation. Would you rather care for a child that is sick all the time or give birth to a child that is free from problems?

Although this next part may be unethical, I still think it is a dam good idea. When the day comes that we can choose every characteristic of a baby, maybe we should just create tet tube babies with O blood. Since these people have blood which is desired, we could mass breed them and then mine them for their blood. This way, there wont be a shortage of O blood for those people, and when in need other blood groups can use their blood two. Of course, these babies will be nurtured and cared for, but these babies are in the end just walking DNA factories. Think about it, the first person to do this can make so much profit?

When this day comes, who wants to join me in profiting from the perfect test tube babies, in the most unethical way possible?

Homophobia or Prejudice?

Ever seen a same sex couple walking down the street holding hands or making out? What was you reaction? Homophobia, is the irrational fear of homosexual people. If you dont know what homosexuality is, then there is something wrong with you. Honestly, are you homophobic or just prejudiced.

If you see a pair of guys making out and groping each other in public, do you turn around and act disgusted, or do you do your best not to stare? Its not everyday that you see homosexual people showing signs of affection in public. However, are you truly homophobic or are you just prejudiced. This may apply to guys more than girls, as more guys tend to display their hatred of homosexuality publicly, while girls love to have gay best friends or hairdressers. Guys, do you honesty believe, that a gay couple disgusts you, or are you just prejudiced? If you saw lesbians making out what would your reaction be? A sudden rush of blood to the lower part of your body or would you be as equally disgusted if it was a pair of guys? If you dont mind lesbians, but you hate homosexual men, then you are simply prejudiced.

Some people may not be homophobic nor prejudiced towards the gay community, but still cringe at the sight of them making out. This fact is simple to explain. Some people just dont like to see others make out in public. The line has to be drawn somewhere for heterosexuals and homosexuals alike. Some people take it too far, and make out with their partner, without even coming up for air, then their hands start wandering to the lower parts of their significant other’s body.

The thing that bugs me the most is that most Asians see homosexuality as an illness almost as if it was the plague. Yet Asians make up a significant part of the homosexual community. Homosexuality, is simply the preference of the same sex over the opposite sex. A wise person once told me that they believe everyone is actually bisexual, but prefer one sex over the other, no matter how big or small that preference may be. If your best friend told you they were a homosexual, would you still stand by them, or would you walk away? I believe, even if you are homophobic or prejudiced, you should still be there for your best friend, as this is when they are the most vulnerable. Their world falling apart and no one is there to help them along.

Homophobic or prejudiced, you need to consider why you feel that way. Dont just blatantly yell out “shoot the gays” in order to conform to everybody else. Remember, that those people who choose to tell you they are homosexual, trusted you enough to stand by them, and if you walked away then you werent really a best friend to begin with. Remember this: What if you were gay?

Jealous Much?

Jealousy – mental uneasiness from suspicion or fear of rivalry or unfaithfulness.

Jealousy, a feeling that has been around ever since man roamed the earth. Jealousy can apply to many things, but the ones I find where jealousy prevails is in love and wealth and success.

Jealousy in love, is a major cause of break ups. Many partners fear that their partner may not be completely faithful to them and this leads to envy. The usual root for jealousy is either that one person feels that their partner is unfaithful, or that they may see someone as a rival and threat to their relationship. So if you see your partner hugging, someone else infront of you, is that a sign of deceit? Cant people just hug other people and count on their partner having more faith in them and not jump to any conclusions? Sure, your partner may spend a significant amount of time with maybe one person, but that surely isnt reason enough to be jealous. The problems, is we live in a world, where everyone competes with each other. In reality, everyone will eventually become your rival, whether its in love, at work or even school. Asking someone else what they got for their test is a sign of rivalry although it may be more subtle then others. Before voicing your concern to your partner about them possibly being unfaithful, consider all the facts.

Another problem is that guys and girls alike have issues in relationships. When guys think that their girlfriend is cheating on them but dont say anything, they then say that you dont care enough. On the other hand, if guys voice their concern, some girls say that they care too much. So what is the right way to go about in voicing your concerns? Guys, if you see your girlfriend hanging out with other guys, dont automatically assume that they are flirting or cheating on you. Take into consideration all the facts – a big one is if they already have a partner. The other reason that your girlfriend might choose to hang around other guys, is that they dont want to seem clingy. They dont know how you would feel if they spent every waking moment with you. One other thing – you dont own your girlfriend, they have the right to do whatever the hell they want in their own time, and if they dont spend it with you, it doesnt mean they are cheating on you.

Jealousy is also an ugly monster that pops out in the workplace. When several candidates are up for promotion, dont see them as rivals. What if one of those candidates was your best friend? You shouldnt hold a grudge against them, if they rise higher than you, you should be thrilled for them. They may think that you dont like them anymore simply, because they took something of yours. They need your support and to know that there are no hard feelings between you. You can also take the chance to learn what you are doing wrong, and why you didnt get that bonus, or promotion and try harder next time. Remember whatever doenst kill you, only makes you stronger?

So, jealousy is an ugly monster that lives within all of us. Some cant control this beast while others have control over theirs. So next time you see your partner spending time with another person dont automatically assume they are no longer interested in you. Love is a complicated thing  and different people have different needs and wants (that didnt come from me). So dont be a jealous prick.

Synthetic or Natural

I was recently watching an episode of Boston Legal, where a doctor had put his ass fat into his clients lips, when they thought it was their own. His justification for his actions was that his ass fat is the “good stuff.”So this got me thinking, do we today prefer synthetic or natural items. Synthetic or natural doesnt only apply to everyday items, but also the human body. Who could forget about silicone breasts?

Everyday items, are rapidly moving from natural to synthetic. Take sugar for example, naturally it would come from sugar cane which is processed, milled and ground until it becomes that white crystalline subtance we enjoy in our desserts. Sugar may not necessarily be white, but there are so many varietys out there, that some poeple get confused. When flipping through a dessert cookbook, I can easily come across 10 different types of sugar. Then, in walks the health issue: obesity. Manufacturers are taking advantage of this health concern which as sent shockwaves through the globe, and are now targeting this market, to trick them into buying artificial sweetener. While, it may taste like sugar, look like sugar and be made from sugar it isnt sugar. Its artificial, synthetic crap that we are duped into believing is better for us. Sure their may be less calories, but artificial stuff is never good for you anyway, especially if you eat it and it costs much more than the natural sugar. I can buy twice the amount of sugar for half the price of artifical sweetener. When food packages say “no sugar” they really mean “we dont put the natural stuff in, but here have some artificial crap that taste like the natural stuff”.

Sure, synthetic stuff does have its benefits, but someone has to draw the line. For example, synthetic teeth or more commonly known as dentures are quite useful. Old people who have loss all their teeth, dont enjoy living the rest of their lives through a straw, so they get dentures made. Other synthetic items which, can be considered useful, include synthetic football boots (for all you animal lovers out there), plastic which can be extremely useful and prosthetics, which make the life of disabled people much  easier, and some even live their life like normal.

When I think of synthetic, I think of breast implants, or any implants for that matter, although breasts are the most common. Breast implants, is a revolution which has taken the world by storm. Women who feel insecure about their body parts or have low self esteem, can choose to fork out a significant amount of money to have two silicone things stuffed into their chest. Once again, these are usually the blonde bimbos who wanna bang any human that walks and has a penis. However, having synthetic things stuffed into your chest, can also be dangerous. What if one of your “breasts” decided to pop. I hear silicone doesnt mix well with the body. Do guys wanna bang someone with synthetic or natural breasts?

While, in some cases synthetic things are beneficial to society, overall the synthetic world is taking over. One day this world, would probably artificial things replacing all the natural stuff, so we dont have to scream “Save the whales” or “What about the trees?” anymore. I would like to draw the line at people choosing to have synthetic things placed into their body which isnt necessary (i.e. implants). So which do you prefer: synthetic or natural?

Death By…. (Best and Worst Ways to go)

After my recent two posts which took on more seriuos matters, I am going to make it up to you by posting something light hearted and funny. I have decided to create a list of the ways that I think would be the funniest ways to die or the worst ways one could die.

Firstly, the funniest ways to die include:

• death by chocolate- either drowning in the stuff, or someone force feeding you chocolate until you choke to death
• death by sandwich – being clobbered to death by a dense sandwich/roll (i.e. todays chicken roll in food tech)
• drowning in lava – while the pain may be excrutiating, imagine the chances of it actually happening, it will be rather quick(i think)
• eating till you explode – at least the last moments of your life were the best for you
• beiing killed by franchesca – if she ever did kill someone she will probably serenade you to death

The worst ways to possibly die include:

• falling into a wood chipper
• being turned into mince meat literally – where u are put through that special machine and strands of you come out
• being tortured to death – by anyone, but especially if you were tortured by Susan or I
• being attacked by insects especially bees and ants
• drowning in manure (imagine the smell and the taste)
• If you ever hurt one of Susan’s or my friends – watch out for your balls if your a guy, they will go first, you would wish you were never born
• being torn apaprt by any animal while you are alive – especially grizzly bears and crocodiles/alligators
• death by math – learning so much math, that you end up being bored to death
• being dunked in acid – slowly ur skin and flesh is being eaten away
• having one eyeball removed slowly so u can still see with it and then being killed

The Worst Kind of Scum

This post wil perhaps be one of my most serious. Recently during class, I have been studying a notorious criminal who had had intimate relations with several young people usually around 12-13 years of age. This really got to me as I regarded this man as sick. Perhaps one of the worst type of scum. While I may be a coldhearted superficial cynical SOB who condones killing and torture, I have an extreme oppostion towards rape, paedophilia and molestation. The worst type of scum are simply, those who commit these crimes. I personally think that murderers and serial killers will always be better than those who rape, molest or traumatise innocent children.

Rapists are perhaps one of those which I hate. The only reasons for one choosing to commit rape, that I can think of is either: their sexual advances are often rejected or they are dominated by their partners and need a way to feel powerful themselves. Choosing to attack a poor defenseless woman (majority of the time although male rape victims exist) is a sign of cowardice. Unable to achieve pleasure on ones accord with someone who knows them, rapists have to select their victims, and bound and gag them to achieve that pleasure. Not choosing to think of the damage that will be imposed amongst their victim. Rape is perhaps the most traumatic experience one can possibly go through. I have asked several people, and they have all said to me that they will rather die than be raped. Rapists are cowards who simply are nobody’s in their life and are often impotent and easily dominated in the bedroom. If you do choose to rape someone, why not show some mercy and kill them as well you sick son of a bitch.

Paedophiles and child molesters are perhaps the worst type of scum in my book. They dont even have the balls to commit crimes on adults, and seek out innocent, weak and defenseless children to prey upon.   Professionals describe paedophilia as a psychological disorder and I would have to agree. These people need treatment fast for their feelings of impotence and cowardice. These psychopaths, commit crimes against children usually 12-13 years old and girls and boys are equally targeted. If any young children are reading this, who are victims of these crimes, I urge you to report it to the police or a school figure. If you tell your parents they may not believe you and ma try and protect the perpetrator especially if its family or friend. Paedophiles are worst then rapists, as they target young children and never kill them so they always have something to go back to. Victims of this type of crime, often tell no one as they are scared of the consequences or that no one will believe them. These children have to grow up quickly, losing their childhood and have to live with the trauma for the rest of your lives.

If it were up to me, all rapists and paedophiles would be sentenced to death by slow torture. Watch out you sickos, one day your day will come. How would you like it if someone raped or molested you?

The Ultimate Sacrifice

Now my previous blogs have all rather been light hearted and funny, but I was thinking to myself the other day, under what circumstances would someone choose to make the ultimate sacrfice (i.e sacrifice your own life to save others). I will try to keep the light heartedness and comedy with this blog but no guarantees.

The ultimate sacrifice. Choosing to give up your own life in order to save another. We’ve all seen this in movies, where secret service agents, make their heroic dive across the president of the USA to take a bullet for them in slow motion. If it came down to that for you would you actually do it? Some may say that they will unquestionably give up their life for a loved one, but in reality, would you be able to make that split second decision when faced with it. Lets face it, in reality we are all selfish on the inside but some more than others (i.e. me).

Personally, I will never make the ultimate sacrifice for anyone. I dont see a point in choosing to end your own life and save them when they wont get to spend any more time with you. The person you saved would probably just kick themselves and blame themselves for your death. If you did make the ultimate sacrifice I would attend your funeral if you were a close friend, even if the sacrifice wasnt for me. As I pointed out before, if I had the chance to make the ultimate sacrifice, I wouldnt, I would take out my gun, and put a bullet between the SOBs eyes, if they were trying to kill you. If I had a shotgun, be ready to duck for cover. If I didnt get them, in time then Im sorry but tough.

So is the ultimate sacrifice really worth it? If it is, would you be willing to make it? I suggest that you just carry a gun with you and pop that SOB in the head if they were trying to kill you.

Are Models any Good for Society?

When we open a trashy magazine or a fashion catalogue, we see the face of models everywhere. While they may be the ones that we stare at on the runway , do we see them as role models for society, and do they even offer anything for society?

Models as role models. I think not. Models, while they may be hot (depending on personal preferences) really offer little to society. Strutting their stuff in a size 00 dress, and 8 inch heels, do we want children to aspire to be like them. Living off a diet of celery/carrot sticks and water they generally promote the image of bulimia and anorexia. Any person who thinks they can achieve the size of a model, get real. Unless you begin to starve yourself, get a stomach reduction surgery, and live your life at the gym, dont even think about looking like a supermodel. While they may earn large amounts of money, the higher they rise the harder they fall. Take Kate Moss, for example, she was on top of the world, with leading fashion housese ready to sign, massive contracts with her – then pictures of her cocaine habits surfaced and she was dropped like the atomic bomb on Hiroshima.

Ever wonder why  the top models, rarely do bikini modelling? Well, the simple answer is that if we were ever to see supermodels in a bikini, we wouldnt be focussing on the garment, rather the ribs of the supermodel, ready to pop out of their skin at any moment.  Models, may say they choose to model for high end fashion houses such as Armani and Gucci, the truth is that if they ever revealed their body to the public, they will be labelled anorexic or bulimic faster than you can blink.

Now models also rarely offer anything for society. They definitely do not promote a healthy body image one should aspire to achieve, nor do they give anything back to the people that made them. The only thing which I can think of that models offer to society is the fact that they may help some guys get through their teenage years (wonder what that could be?). If you stil dont get it the obvious answer is – what do guys like to stare at. Another thing that I think that models could possibly offer to society is entertainment (no, not what your thinking, all you testosterone driven guys out there). When they are strutting down their runway, if they happen to slip and fall, we all get to sit back and point and laugh.

So are models are any good for today’s society. I think the obvious answer is definitely not unless you wanna become anorexic and live life off carrot sticks.

Bigger is Not Always Better

Is bigger really better? The age old question mankind has been asking since the time of the neanderthals, although some might debate neanderthals are not an extinct species. Hell I think I see one everyday. Back to the topic, IS BIGGER REALLY BETTER? The answer simply put is not always.

When people first here IS BIGGER REALLY BETTER, there minds jump straight to the bedroom. Whether its a set of bigger “melons” on a woman or a bigger set of “bats and balls” on a man we all think that bigger is automatically bigger. Society’s media portrays the ideal image of a woman, that should be a size 0 with an E cup set of breasts. This sudden urge for bigger sexual organs has sparked an increase in the cost for cosmetic surgery. Girls who want bigger boobs are often the young bimbos who are nothing but a waste of space in todays world. The typical girl/bimbo who wants a set of E cups would pobably be: “OMG that guy is so hot. I hope he notices my titties.”

While girls desire bigger breasts some men desire a bigger penis. Does the size of a penis really affect the satisfaction and pleasure one can give or get from sex? Some men often desire a bigger cock so much that they are willing to try anything from pills to surgery. While pills are often a fraud to get money, the surgery is often dangerous and what if the surgeon accidently removes your “leprechaun.” Then you can finally realise the dangers of not being satisfied with what you have.

If a couple genuinely has is passionate about the other, the size of their “equipment” shouldn’t matter.

Is bigger really better, doesnt only apply to the human body but also to someones ego. The bigger someone’s ego is, often the dumber they are. Typically people with a big ego have nothing to give to society except their crappy humour which very rarely funny, and their useless crap. The big ego usually comes attached to the dumbass meathead who has nothing to offer to society except for a hot body for girls to stare at. E.g. Meathead with big ego to friend “Did you see the way she was looking at me? She so totally wants to fuck me.” This dumbass can offer nothing to society except for the drool he lets out when he sees anything with a pair of legs and a set of tits. But eventually all people with a big ego must learn: what comes up must go down as well as the bigger your ego is the bigger you fall.

So do you think bigger is better? Big things usually come attached to blonde bimbos and dumbass meatheads. Eventually everyone must realise, big things are desired because they are usually unobtainable. I would like to end this post with a quote from one of my favourite tb shows: Alias.
