Things from a new perspective

In the past few years I have seen things mainly from only one perspective or maybe two, but in the past few days I have seen the world from a different view. I have always been known as a cold hearted superficial cynical SOB. In light of recent comments people have come to see me as a different person perhaps tarnishing my record as a cold hearted superficial cynical SOB. I had recently made a comment (completely false) in this persona and it completely put my friendship with someone in jeopardy. They burst into tears and I immediately felt remorse. With a friendship at stake I saw the awfulness of my comment and did two things that was completely uncharacteristic of me which I dont care to go into, but those involved will know what I am referring to. Luckily this friend was quick to forgive me, but sometimes people arent so lucky.

The events of that incident have made me to be even more cold and jaded to try and pick up the tattered shreds of my reputation, but inside I do have a conscience. Although people may not see it often it is in there just like a normal human being.

Yesterday someone had tried to wrong me and today they felt the wrath of my fury as well as the humiliation and embarassment that comes with the torture that can come with this type of mistake. In my defence everything was done to support charity but at someones expense. This also put my friendship with another person in jeopardy the results of which are still unknown. I decided to play god or possibly matchmaker today and this could have possibly brought back unwanted feelings for the two parties involved.

Now, in light of seeing people’s recent blogs I have seen some sides of people that I rarely get to see. Some choose to reveal their inner turmoils, which I didnt know existed and also brought out a whole new persona. A friend of mine had recently started this blogging craze and now I have been challenged to parody it. I will start by discussing a topic that comes out when two people drag a whole group of people into their high school dramas. While I personally like to deal with my issues alone some  choose to find supporters and show the other that they are in fact better than them.

Sitting on the fence is something I do not like to do. While it is admirable to not choose sides sitting on the fence doesnt show a great sense of loyalty. Even if your friends with two or more parties involved it is always the truth that you will always prefer one side over the other no matter how wrong that persons actions may be. Sitting on the fence is so boring, sure you may stay out of trouble but where’s the fun in that? Wouldnt the spikes of the white picket fence some of us dream of poke us in the ass or the some people’s asses are so big they dont even fit on the thin edge of the fence? People need to know that when a war breaks out we can’t all be Switzerland as theres only one of those, tucked away in western Europe.  Just beware, that choosing to sit on the fence all of the time will eventually come back and take a humugous chomp of your ass.

I can’t believe that you actually listened to me!!!

Awwww Dw, i still think of you as that “cold hearted superficial cynical SOB” – just with a conscience. To be honest i didnt think you would act that way… it was refreshing? and i do appreciate it :)

As for the sitting on the fence issue, must i explain myself further?

You’ll always be a superficial cold hearted SOB in my eyes [and i have 20/20 vision!]

You have a conscience, but its visibility is at your disposal. I’m much the same, it’s just a like to fool people to believing im a nice, caring person but we both know otherwise.

Eventually someone will break that fence, the both sides have new weapons! So i see no problem with sitting on the fence.
